| or a nanny ( , which is what I am) means: Cleaning up puke, pee, and other bodily functions. Driving everyone to where they need to go. Trying to get everyone in the car so they can get where they need to go. Comforting crying/sick children. Trying to interpret babbles. Laundry, loads and loads of laundry. Toys, loads and loads of toys. Naptime (a good time to do dishes). But it also means: Cute smiles. Funny sayings. Laughs. hugs, lots of hugs. Cuddles. Games. It's been so much fun being a nanny/babysitter, and I feel like it's helping to give me a glimpse into the world of a mom. I love it.

| Have you ever had one of those days when you are an absolute klutz?
That was me yesterday...
It all started at about 8:45 yesterday morning.
While climbing into the front seat of our van (from the back seat) I
somehow managed to scrape my elbow and hit my funny bone at the same
time. Oh boy, that hurt. The scrape didn't bleed, but it stung (almost
like a rug burn), and you all know that hitting your funny bone is lame.
Anyways, throughout the rest of the day I managed to bump my head
(pretty hard) 3 times, trip on the stairs 2 times, and fall flat on my
back (narrowly missing another pretty bad head bang) once.
But at least I survived another klutz day. I figure that I at least
have a couple of months before I have another one now (I hope).
Oh and P.S. I saw an upside down house yesterday..... so apparently I wasn't the only one having a bad day | | |
